Ride the perfect break with Jetstar to the Quiksliver Pro surfing tour.

Objectives

  • To engage as many eligible people as possible to enter the competition.
  • Raise consumer awareness of the Quiksilver Pro Surfing tour.
  • Raise consumer awareness of Jetstar.
  • Engage at least 500 people with either a competition entry, a bag of Jetstar Jellybeans or a simple hello.

Execution

This campaign was executed by having Jetstar Brand Ambassadors engage crowds around Downtown Westfield before, during and after their lunch breaks encouraging them to have a go on the Jetstar branded mechanical surfboard we had set up. The competition ran from 11am till 2pm and we had hundreds of entries. The major prize (an all expenses paid holiday to the Gold Coast flying with Jetstar to watch the Quiksilver Pro Tour) was won by surfing enthusiasts who had fantastic results on the mechanical surfboard.

Results

At least 1,000 people were engaged, thousands of Jellybeans given away and the competition won but most importantly the crowd had a fantastically fun experience with Jetstar.
