Launching Monteith’s Crushed Apple Cider onto the NZ market
Objectives
To gain trial of Monteiths Crushed Apple Cider in both Retail and Hospitality environments.
To educate consumers on the product, by talking knowledgably about it and asking for feedback.
To create a Cider Lawn environment at various locations to create a real and relevant awareness-boosting brand experience.
Execution
This campaign was executed in various categories in order to spread the message as far and wide as possible.
Brand Ambassadors sampled the product in bars and in grocery outlets.
For some outlets/events more of a brand experience was provided, with brand ambassadors setting up a Cider Lawn Event featuring artificial turf, wooden crates, display wall and seating.
Results
The entire campaign helped to make the Monteiths brand the category Number 1 within 3 months. The brand continues to be the Cider of choice for many and dominate the category in both retail and bars.
