Panapatrol at Rhythm & Vines
Panapatrol Squad at Rhythm and Vines - Raising Awareness of Panasonic Cameras
Objectives
To raise awareness of Panasonics new range of Tough Cameras
To leverage Panasonics sponsorship of the Rhythm and Vines Music Festival
Execution
Our squad of Panasonic Patrol Officers were each given a Panasonic Tough Camera and 1000s of Panasonic branded headbands.
The squad distributed the headbands and then caught headband
wearers on camera.
The pictures were given to the Panasonic Team in the VIP area. The
best pictures were flashed up on the huge video screens on either
side of the main stage. Anyone with their picture on the main
screen could win a camera or other merchandise by presenting
themselves at the VIP area.
The Squad also assisted the Panasonic DJ, spinning tunes from a mobile unit in the back of a branded Ute, in getting people dancing between acts.
Results
This was a low budget campaign with a really high return. Our Squad ended up on stage at one point, dancing with one of the bands.
The Panasonic headbands have been spotted at other festivals and events, including in South Africa at the Football World Cup!
The pictures were all posted on the R&V official website and Facebook sites, gaining additional brand exposure.
R&V organizers said that it was one of the best brand
experience campaigns they had witnessed in a while, so a result for
all concerned.
