Early Days

In the late 1990s, New Zealand marketers began to realise that exposure was no longer the ace up the sleeve consumers wanted more, namely engagement, excitement and a little entertainment. With his keen marketing instincts, John Low began a company that could fluidly respond to the industrys changing needs. Synergy was created to capture consumers, create value and enhance experiences with brands across all touchpoints.

An evolving offering

Since the companys inception, we have made it our business to blitz our competition and grow our brand and reputation. Our success is evidenced by the vast growth in year on year turnover - since 1999 Synergy has more than tripled in size and billings.

Not only have we tripled in terms of size, we have evolved in terms of our client offering - Synergy is no one trick pony! Our team is skilled across a number of marketing disciplines and offers clients a variety of services that differentiate them in an increasingly competitive marketplace.

Today's Business

Its now almost 10 years since we started, and while some things have changed, our culture hasnt. Our unique business formula, our people and our ever diversifying offering have proven themselves time and again across our partnerships with some of New Zealand (and the worlds) most iconic brands. We continue to offer our clients ways and means of standing out and connecting with consumers in a cluttered and super-busy marketplace.

Today our business is split into 5 distinct areas, with experts employeed in each discipline. Our bread and butter is in-store promotional sampling. We are one of NZ's top 3 in-store sampling agencies. We have been providing clients with amazing in-store campaigns since our foundation. OUr relationships with Foodstuffs and Progressive are second-to-none.

Next up, we provide some pretty high profile clients with memorable brand experience campaigns in both North and South island. Our head office Account Handlers�and regional coordinators ensure that every campaign delivers a�thoroughly immersive experience with your brand. Our staff are not only creative, but also results-driven to provide you with campaigns that actually work.

We use our national team to provide merchandising services for a number of clients who require their merchandise staff to be true brand ambassadors, and not just good with a staple gun! We merchandise 550 stores every 2 weeks across the entire country, and consistently achieve 98% success in our post activation mystery shopping surveys.

We are often asked by clients to provide market audit information and mystery shopping feedback. our systems and the close relationships we have with our brand ambassadors means we can report information very quickly and reward behaviour in-store on the spot!

Of course some of our clients attend some pretty big events around the country. Our national team means we can provide local staff to organise, manage and staff events. Our head office staff provide the concepts and ensure delivery around the country.
